• Implemented an Observability and Monitoring system using Prometheus and Grafana for monitoring network devices, system services, processes, and statistics, log aggregation, financial transactions monitoring, and application monitoring. This system greately impacted infrastructure visibility and enhanced issue detection and understanding. Replaced a costly device monitoring system, resulting in an annual saving of approximately $10,000.
• Spearheaded the segregation of the existing ERP (Odoo) to reduce costs. Utilized Odoo Community version and developed tailored modules to meet internal company needs, while providing Odoo Enterprise access to only two departments. This led to an annual saving of approximately $7,000.
• Administered several critical systems including Anti-Money Laundering (AML), Access Control Server (ACS), Fraud Management System (FMS).
• Managed and organized a new ticketing and technical support system leading to much greater issue tracking, task managment, and employee accountability.
• Built a temporary, fully functioning, AML system including a comprehensive API system for AML related data, manual and ongoing sanction screening using OpenSanctions where I built a publically available crawler to automatically fetch and index CBI's required local terrorists list, and implementing various scenarios required by CBI.
• Responsible for performing server and application remediations in alignment with Information Security department and automated manual tasks such as updating RDBMSes, revalidating certificates, backing up device configuration, and managing cipher suites.

• Worked at the Arbat Refugee Camp for Syrian Refugees at the organization’s Child Friendly Spaces and Child Protection Unit as the database manager and IT administrator where I managed monthly reporting and data collection for hundreds of attendees and numerous activities.
• Created and maintained systems for asset management, employee information management, and helped in maintaining consent form management along with other smaller systems using Vue.js, Django, and PostgreSQL, which streamlined many tasks for the Accounting and Human Resources departments.
• Conducted training sessions to empower staff in utilizing in-house software and computers for daily tasks.
• Documented Child Protection Unit information with CPIMS. Translated documented from Arabic to English.

• Was part of the development of a large-scale hospital management system. emergency, operating theater, radiology, pharmacy, inventories, accounting, ICU, and others using a custom MVC implemented in PHP and MySQL.
• Administered and maintained the system after the development phase.
• Implemented various new features to the system including differentiating between inpatients and outpatients and coming up with mechanisms to avoid patient and surgery type duplication.
• Fixed dozens of bugs, improved security, and created scheduled daily and hourly backups for the system.

• Developed the official website with Joomla and various custom extensions, a course and student management system with Moodle, and a Continuing Professional Development (CPD) system built manually with PHP for Hawler Medical University.
• Held numerous training sessions to familiarize different staff members with their duties on the new systems.
• Generated data for lecturers and students of all five colleges.

• Developed the first ever offline Optical Character Recognition system for the Kurdish language using Gamera Framework.
